Eye Movement Desensitization/Reprocessing (EMDR)

I completed my S.A.F.E. training through the Personal Transformation Institute. EMDR is a trauma informed technique that uses bilateral stimulation to reprocess traumatic events. This treatment is used to alleviate distress and symptoms of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The platform that I use is called remotEMDR. This technique is best for individuals who are ready to dive deep into their trauma experiences, and find relief from symptoms of trauma.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

I completed my CPT training and certification through The StrongStar Institute. CPT is a trauma informed technique that uses components of CBT to alleviate symptoms of PTSD by focusing on negative beliefs and thoughts and finding and how they effect your present feelings and behaviors. By identifying your “stuck points” we can transform your present triggers and find a safer way to live.

Art therapy

Sometimes talking can be hard and we don’t always have the words to express what we’re feeling or going through. With art therapy, we can focus on expressing your full authentic emotion. Art therapy can be used to explore many life transitions in themes such as identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Art therapy can act as a bridge to better understanding your inner world and capturing a snapshot of what may be occurring under the surface.

Tarot

Are you in your “Tower” moment? Does it seem like things are falling around you, or like you are unsure of what is next?

Tarot has been a practice for generations, often used in metaphysical practice. In the therapy room, I use it as a mirror to offer reflection of many themes in your life, and discuss past, present, and future. Together we can deepen the understanding of your inner world.
